My Role.

At Crystal Art Gallery, I led the creative development of biannual home decor product market collections for major retail clients.

Each collection began with market research and trend forecasting, which I translated into cohesive visual themes, color story, and product assortment concepts.

I then guided art and graphics teams through development, sample photography, and final catalog execution.

Research.

Market analysis and trend forecasting informed each collection’s direction. I identified emerging aesthetics, color movements, and buyer signals to define themes with strong retail relevance.

Direction.

I translated the research into visual frameworks — trend boards, palettes, and concepts that aligned artwork, subjects, typography, and formats into a cohesive trend story.

Development.

Working with internal art, product development, and graphics teams, I directed the artwork creation, product imagery, and catalog layouts, ensuring the final collection delivered a unified visual identity from concept to launch.

The Takeaway.

Metrics should support our art teams, not punish them.

This success proved that operational rigor and human empathy can coexist — and when they do, output accelerates naturally.
